What to do During Your Option Period…

What is an Option Period?

Your option period is a number of days specified in your contract (usually 3-10 days) for you to have any inspections and other services look at the home before you buy it.

At the end of the option period you will typically have very little access to the home until after you close. Because of this, we have prepared this resource to help you make the most of this crucial time.  

The most important things to do during your Option Period:

Home Inspection 

 Other Inspections (Termite, Sewer Scope, Foundation Elevation Survey, Mold, etc.  

Appraisal

Repair Estimates (if needed)
